IPTV keeps buffering - TechGuru - 09-10-2026
Hi everyone,
I've been seeing quite a bit of buffering recently and wanted to see what everyone's usual troubleshooting steps are.
Internet speed seems fine and other streaming services aren't having any problems.
Would you normally start with the router, streaming device or IPTV player?
Any tips appreciated.

I'd start with the simplest things first.
Restart the streaming device and router, then check whether the issue happens on every channel or only certain ones.
If it's only particular channels, that can help narrow down where the problem is.

Also worth checking whether you're using Wi-Fi.
If possible, testing the device temporarily over Ethernet can tell you quite quickly whether Wi-Fi is contributing to the problem.
